The Roseland Golf & Curling Club Board is seeking a well-qualified, dynamic leader to join their Senior Management Team. Roseland Golf and Curling Club Limited is a full service recreational golf and curling facility proudly serving the citizens of Windsor, Ontario. The facility comprises an 18-hole Donald Ross designed championship golf course, a challenging Par 3 course, a 6-sheet curling rink as well as a large restaurant and banquet facilities. In addition we offer the offsite scenic 9 hole Little River Golf Club. Roseland Golf Course is a designated Ontario Heritage Site and remains true to its Ross heritage and has hosted many professional and amateur events. We invite submissions for the senior position of: GENERAL MANAGER - ROSELAND GOLF & CURLING CLUB REFERENCE NUMBER: 2016-0181-M You will apply a thorough understanding of golf, curling, and food and beverage operations, oversee building and equipment maintenance and the maintenance of the golf grounds and curling ice, and direct marketing/promotions initiatives. Highly organized and team oriented, you will also provide leadership and expertise in all areas of the facility. The General Manager is the catalyst and facilitator for the Board of Directors executing strategies to achieve goals defined by both the General Manager and the Board of Directors. In addition to your degree or diploma in hospitality/tourism management, business administration or a related field you must have over five (5) years extensive practical experience related to golf/curling club or recreational facility operations. A highly effective communicator, you are able to provide coaching, financial planning, motivational, and exemplary leadership in the delivery of efficient operations and superior customer service.
