Title: Personal Attendant
Status: Permanent Part-Time
Shift: TBD on placement
Starting rate of pay: $19.87/ hour
Overview
We are looking for individuals who are personable, professional, and patient. With a desire to work with our consumers/clients to build positive, trusting relationships while providing friendly and professional support. The services we provide can be taxing but are rewarding. You will be providing a variety of services to a variety of consumers and will always be learning and experiencing something new. This position reports directly to their Program Manager and works with the program team to assist in the provision of safe, quality, and person-centred consumer care. This position requires flexible availability including morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.
Qualifications: Must possess a valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance with liability coverage with regular access to a reliable vehicle as staff are working in multiple locations throughout the day. Must provide a clear Police Vulnerable Sector Check and must have the ability to be flexible with schedule, working on-call shifts and every other weekend as a minimum. For education requirements: must have a PSW or DSW certificate (Or Equivalent from outside of Ontario) and Grade 12 education/High School Diploma.
