BUILDING SUPER
We are seeking a reliable, conscientious, and dedicated couple to fill the position of Residential Superintendent at a building in London.
Responsibilities:
-Rent collection including deposits, reports and notice delivery
-Establish and maintain excellent relationships with tenants, suppliers and contractors
-Ensure prompt service to tenants and prospective tenants, answer calls and show/rent apartments
-Complete leases, bank deposits and standard reports
-Ensure that the building and its environment is clean
-Reasonably enforce the landlord's rules and regulations
-Carry out repairs and renovations including tiling, plastering and painting. Where necessary, supervise trades pertaining to building and related equipment.
-Respond to all facility emergencies in a timely manner
-Respond to maintenance requests and repairs by tenant
-Carry out inspections including fire, health and safety and building condition
-Integrity, ethical, ability to work independently, strong customer service orientation, resilient and self starter
-Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
-Excellent interpersonal skills
-Handle basic plumbing, electrical and carpentry
-Knowledge of workplace safety and safe lifting and handling procedures

This is a full-time position with potential to grow into an Office Manager role. A Dental background and knowledge of Abeldent software is an asset!
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and prioritization skills, ability to multi-task, ensure that the day to day operations of the office run smoothly, and most importantly - provide our patients with exceptional care and gold-star service!
Other responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Creating treatment and financial plans for patients
- Answering all inquiries by telephone, in person and online
- Ability to efficiently optimize and coordinate appointment schedule
- Supporting Dentist on as needed basis
- Knowledge of insurances, submitting and following up on claims
- Prioritizing and helping patients in distress by responding to emergencies
- Comfortable with account reconciliation and management including collections
- Creating and maintaining relationships with suppliers, patients, etc.
- General tidiness and cleanliness of the office and maintenance of equipment
- Coordinating and participating in Community events
- Monthly calculation of Associate pay
- Monthly budgeting of dental and office supplies
Candidate will be the main point of contact for the office and must have very flexible hours for the first month until we grow the practice and hire additional staff members.
