Our production processes include Robotic GMAW and resistance welders, cold forging and an e-coat paint system. We weld, assemble and paint suspension and body components. You must be capable of working in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment and be able to work rotating day/afternoon shifts or straight midnight shifts plus steady weekend overtime. You must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and have a desire to learn various operations. If you have welding experience some of our processes may interest you. We’re looking for team members who have a strong safety first attitude who are dependable and can work with little supervision! We also offer a continental shift! Due evolving demands for our services we are looking to hire a Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. We are located in London Ontario. The Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant is responsible for all aspects of the financial system and reporting. The successful applicant will manage the compilation of financial statements and provide useful, accurate and timely information for use by executive management. This position will also provide administrative support in order to ensure effective and efficient office operations. This support will entail various marketing and communications, member services, backup to other staff and other activities. It is expected that the Bookkeeping activities will consume about 40% of overall time. This is a great position for someone starting out, possessing some appropriate experience, who wants to gain a broad exposure to the workings of an organization. This is a full time salaried position. Duties and Responsibilities: - Maintains accounting/bookkeeping functions including accounts receivable and payable, financial statement preparation and analysis, bank reconciliations, general ledger and HST and other government reporting; - Other typical and normal bookkeeping duties; - Assist directly in marketing and communications including website and social media, magazines and annual reports, event support; - Other duties as they arise that are within the context of this position. Competencies: - Demonstrated experience in bookkeeping and payroll. - Full competency in Microsoft Office and Sage 50 is mandatory, QuickBooks experience also desirable. Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign and related software is desired. - Formal post-secondary education in bookkeeping/accounting. - Must be bondable. - Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping/clerk experience.
